Synopsis: Leah Harvey has suffered migraines for years. Due to a car accident, she misses a session with her neurologist, who has enrolled her in a clinical trial for a potential new treatment. After the missed session, Leah begins to experience increasing paranoia, anxiety, and irritability. At first, she chalks it up to residual effects of the accident, or of missing her treatment, but she’s quickly drawn into a complex network of secrets threatening to burst. Not only is her view of her condition changed forever, but her understanding of her very self.

PLEASE NOTE! The draft of Remembrance seen here on Substack is a first draft. While I stand by it as a self-contained story, I also want to let you know that I am working on some developmental edits in the background, with plans to release a paperback and e-book edition either in Q4 of 2024 or Q1 of 2025. I know that, for some people, that may affect their reading plans; for others, it may not. If you’d like to stay abreast of those announcements, you can subscribe right here:

First of all - thanks for the mention, Sara. Looking at your TOC has sparked some ideas for my own. I like the synopsis idea and having a short blurb under each chapter heading. I do want to keep using the format of the inbed chapter links. I guess I could add the blurb underneath each one. Anyway - the little gray cells (tapping noggin) are churning.
I just found this novel and I cannot put it down. It's soooooo good. I'm not getting any of my own stuff done!
